Just because it’s vegan, doesn’t mean it can’t be bloody. Have your alcoholic salad-in-a-glass and eat it too.


For the Bloody Mary Mix

3 cups tomato juice
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. prepared horseradish
1½ tbsp. Mad Hare Vegan Shire Sauce
¾ tsp. hot sauce
⅓ cup pickle juice
¾ tsp. celery salt
½ tsp. black pepper
¼ tsp. garlic powder

¼ cup hot sauce
4 tbsp. vegan butter
1 tsp. Mad Hare Vegan Shire Sauce
¼ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. onion powder
⅛ paprika
⅛ cayenne pepper (Note: for a spicier sauce, use more cayenne as needed)

For the Bloody Mary

2 oz. Vodka
Bloody Mary Mix, as needed

Optional Garnishes
Lemon wedge
Lime wedge
Celery stalk
Cucumber slices
Kosher pickle spears
Cherry tomatoes
Pickled beans and asparagus
Pickled okra
Pickled beets, cauliflower, or carrots
Pepperocinis, peppadews, or other peppers
Pickled jalapeños
Large caper berries
Marinated artichoke hearts
Marinated pearl onions
Baby corn


For the Bloody Mary Mix

1. In a pitcher or food processor, mix all ingredients together and stir/blend until combined.
For the Bloody Mary
2. Fill a tall glass with ice.
3. Add vodka, and top with desired amount of Bloody Mary Mix.
4. Add optional garnishes as desired.
