A Thanksgiving staple with a sweet, savory bite.
Ingredients
1 12oz. bag of fresh cranberries
¾ cup orange juice
¼ cup water
⅓ cup Clover Honey
2 whole star anise
⅛ tsp. ground cinnamon
pinch ground cloves
pinch ground nutmeg
Directions
- Wash and sort cranberries, tossing any brown or shriveled berries.
- Place all ingredients in to a saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to a simmer, stirring occaisionally. Let simmer for about 20 minutes, or until most of the cranberries have burst.
- Remove from heat, and let cool to room temperature. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for later use.
