Spiced Honey Cranberry Sauce

A Thanksgiving staple with a sweet, savory bite.

1 12oz. bag of fresh cranberries
¾ cup orange juice
¼ cup water
⅓ cup Clover Honey
2 whole star anise
⅛ tsp. ground cinnamon
pinch ground cloves
pinch ground nutmeg


  1. Wash and sort cranberries, tossing any brown or shriveled berries.
  2. Place all ingredients in to a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Bring to a simmer, stirring occaisionally. Let simmer for about 20 minutes, or until most of the cranberries have burst.
  4. Remove from heat, and let cool to room temperature. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for later use.
